Owned by William Grant & Sons, and made from three Speyside single malts, Monkey Shoulder has established itself as a preferred blended malt among many whisky consumers and bartenders. The redesign builds on the brand’s established identity, including its blend of three single malts, represented by the Three Monkeys emblem, now positioned on the bottle’s left shoulder. The update also features subtle design changes, including vibrant orange tones, giving the bottle a more contemporary look.

Ifan Jenkins, Monkey Shoulder’s Global Managing Director, said: “Today’s drinkers want premium brands that feel modern, versatile, and culturally connected. Our new identity captures that ambition – rooted in Speyside craft, bold in approach, and full of energy. From our refreshed visual codes to the iconic Three Monkeys emblem, every detail signals an exciting new era for Monkey Shoulder.”

The Monkey Shoulder blend remains unchanged, and includes three Speyside single malts matured in first‑fill ex‑bourbon casks blended in small batches and bottled at 40% ABV.

Its price point and profile of orange, vanilla and ginger has made it a popular speedrack choice for bartenders globally, with the new global brand campaign continuing to promote the Monkey Shoulder Old Fashioned as a signature serve.

The three-ingredient, three-step recipe marks a natural synergy with the three malts used in the whisky.

“Monkey Shoulder is the ultimate blended malt Scotch whisky for an Old Fashioned,” said Joe Petch, Global Brand Ambassador. “Its smoothness and vibrant flavour notes make it a bartender’s dream to add a twist and a home mixologist’s best friend.”
